Golfers/Tennis Elbow
Golfers/Tennis Elbow
Golfers and Tennis Elbow is when the inner or outer part of the elbow becomes painful because of disruption to the tendons that join the muscles of the forearm to the elbow.
The most common cause is overuse due to tasks that involve heavy gripping or repetitive movements of the fingers and hand such as typing, racquet sports and manual work and results in pain of the elbow when gripping or lifting.
We can use a variety of techniques to reduce the inflammation and pain including massage, deep friction, mobilisation, ultrasonic therapy, interferential therapy, acupuncture, injection therapy, taping and an at-home on-going treatment plan.
