Byron Clithero

Byron initially became interested in physiotherapy through his involvement in the sport of gymnastics.

He became the Director of Metro Physio in 2000 and quickly learnt that there was a much bigger need for high quality physiotherapy than within the sporting world. His continued passion and reputation within sport has earned him referrals of international sports performers. He has also provided treatment to professional entertainers and TV celebrities.

As well as Physio, he is also qualified within Orthopaedic medicine, injection therapy and acupuncture meaning you’ll get an accurate diagnosis and the highest quality treatment plan.

Byron is currently the Chair of the Physio First Education committee and is one of the very first Quality Assured Practitioners in Great Britain. He also continues to teach gymnastics and is directly responsible for producing Great Britain’s first ever European Champion.
